Meet Qwerty, our citizen of the week!
Qwerty lives at 4333 Bartlett Circle, in the stately, old neighborhood of Ravenwood. She has been a citizen since May 11, 2005, and has already made quite an impression on her fellow citizens.
Qwerty is well-known at Millsberry Academy for her wide range of athletic abilities. While she loves everything from running to hockey, her favorite sport is basketball. Now that it's summer, Qwerty can often be spotted on the basketball court of the Millsberry Gym, either playing HORSE with a friend or competing in a full-court pickup game. Even when she's not shooting hoops, Qwerty takes a basketball with her wherever she goes, dribbling behind her back and through her legs as she walks along the streets of Downtown Millsberry.
In addition to her athletic talent, Qwerty also has a very active personality. Her friends say that she's always on the move, keeping alert for any fun new events or activities as they take place throughout Millsberry. Whenever anything exciting comes up, Qwerty is usually among the first to hear about it. If you need someone who's thoroughly informed of all the latest happenings, look no further than Qwerty!
Perhaps as a way of expressing her vibrant personality, Qwerty often dresses in the bright, perky colors of orange, silver, and yellow. That's why it's usually easy to spot her when she's hanging out with her friends at an amusement park or at the pool, two of their favorite places to get away from the heat during summer vacation.
Another of Qwerty's passions is acting. Oftentimes, she will join her friends in putting together their own plays, which are then performed in her best friend's tree house. She's also an active member of Millsberry Academy's Drama Club.
Her range of talents doesn't end there, though! In addition to acting, Qwerty also composes music for the Drama Club's productions, since music is another of her passions. Of all the musical styles she enjoys, Qwerty is most inspired by punk, funk, and disco. Thanks to her knack for spotting the newest trends, she was one of the first to hear about the Millsberry Recording Studio. In fact, one of her mixes has even made it onto the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Top 10 chart!
Thanks for being a fine citizen, Qwerty, and congratulations on being named Millsberry's citizen of the week!
