RULE 1. HOW TO PLAY
Look under lids of specially marked cups of Trix® Yogurt. If you are a winner, you will find a "you won" message on the inside of the lid describing your prize. If you find a "try again" message, you are not a winner. See rule 4 for instructions on how to redeem your winning message lid. Winning message lid is subject to verification and is void if altered, illegible, copied, tampered with, or if not obtained through legitimate channels. SWEEPSTAKES ENDS MAY 31, 2007.
RULE 2. ENTRY WITHOUT PURCHASE
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter without purchase and an equal chance to win, hand print your name, address, zip code and daytime phone number on a 3" x 5" piece of paper and send to: Trix® Out Your Room Sweepstakes, P. O. Box 72253, Rockford, MN 55572. Limit one request per outer envelope received by May 31, 2007. Only winners will be notified by June 30, 2007.
RULE 3. PRIZES
ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: The grand prize is one (1) check for $10,000 to "Trix Out Your Room" with great stuff. Retail value of grand prize is $10,000. Odds of winning grand prize are approximately one in seventy-eight million (1 in 78,000,000).
TWO THOUSAND (2,000) FIRST PRIZES: Each first prize is one (1) check for $10.00. Retail value of each first prize is $10.00. Odds of winning a first prize are approximately one in thirty-nine thousand (1 in 39,000).
Any taxes and fees are the responsibility of the winner. No transfers or substitution of prizes by winners permitted. Total retail value of all prizes approximately $30,000.
RULE 4. HOW TO REDEEM YOUR PRIZE
Carefully clean your winning lid and the cup that is was attached to. Tape or glue the winning lid to a piece of paper and write the code date from the yogurt cup, the flavor of the winning cup of yogurt, your name, complete address and daytime phone number. Grand prize winning lid must be sent by registered mail to Trix® Out Your Room Sweepstakes P.O. Box 554, Rockford, MN 55373. First prize winning lids should be sent by first class mail to: Trix® Out Your Room Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 72254, Rockford, MN 55572. Winning lids must be received by June 15, 2007. Grand prize winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release within fourteen days of notification or forfeit prize. Prizes won by a minor (as determined by the laws of state of residence) will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian on the minor's behalf.
RULE 5. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
By participating, you agree to these rules and the judges' decisions, which shall be final and legally binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. General Mills (which includes its affiliates and each of their agents, officers, employees, licensees and all parties associated with this sweepstakes) reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize is unavailable for any reason. If for any reason there are more valid prize claims than the number of listed prizes in any prize category, a random draw will be held to award the listed number of prizes in that category among all winning entries. General Mills is not responsible for lost, destroyed, delayed, incomplete, illegible or misdirected materials. General Mills may modify or rescind this sweepstakes without liability in the event of printing or production errors. Winner(s) agree to use of name and likeness for publicity purposes without further compensation, where legal. By accepting prize, winner releases General Mills, and its respective parents, subsidiaries, directors, officers and employees of all liability. As a condition of entering this sweepstakes, you agree that: (1) any and all claims, judgments and awards are limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entering this sweepstakes; and (2) you waive all rights to claim any other damages, including punitive, incidental and consequential damages and attorneys' fees. Sweepstakes is subject to all laws of the United States. Void where prohibited.
RULE 6. SECOND CHANCE DRAWING.
No Purchase necessary. If the grand prize is not awarded in the Trix® Out Your Room Sweepstakes, it will be awarded in a second chance random drawing after instant win sweepstakes ends on May 31, 2007, from all eligible non-winning entries received from the mail-in entries in Rule 2 above. Unclaimed first prizes will not be awarded. Second chance drawing (if necessary) will be held on or about July 15, 2007. Prize limited to one per household or address. Only winners will be notified. The decisions of the independent judges are final.
RULE 7. ELIGIBILITY
You must be a legal resident of the U.S. to be eligible to win. Employees of General Mills, its advertising, promotion and judging agencies, and their immediate families and household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited. Sponsored by General Mills Sales, Inc., Minneapolis, MN 55440.
RULE 8. WINNERS LIST
