LUCKY THE LEPRECHAUN SPOTTED!
Thursday, January 5, 2006 — A recent outbreak of Lucky the Leprechaun sightings around town has left Millsberry citizens puzzled. Numerous reports claiming that Lucky the Leprechaun is hiding in various locations around Millsberry have been made. No one has learned why Lucky is in town yet, because he flees as soon as he knows he's been spotted. However, this light-footed leprechaun leaves a trail of four-leaf clovers behind him. One visitor to Millsberry may have an idea of Lucky's purpose for coming to town, though.
"I followed Lucky all the way from Berry Mountain," Mark Shen, who is visiting friends in Millsberry during the winter holidays, told the Millsberry Gazette. "I first saw Lucky while passing through Berry Mountain. He seemed very busy and excited about something. I did a little investigating in the area, but all I could find was a huge field of berry bushes. Lucky was rushing around among the bushes, picking out berries. I wonder what he's going to do with them?"
Lucky's whereabouts are currently unknown, but he has been sighted around several of Downtown Millsberry's shops, as well as a few other locations in the area. "I saw Lucky at Tania's Hair Salon," said Jamie Chase, of Ravenwood. "I happened to look in the mirror while Tania was cutting my hair, and there he was! When I turned around, though, he was gone. I did, however, notice a bunch of four-leaf clovers on the floor where he'd been standing."
Many citizens have gotten so curious that they're using the four-leaf clovers to track Lucky around town. "He seems to leave them wherever he goes," said Alexei Domnin, of Lakeview, "so we're going to follow the clovers and see if they form a trail that leads to Lucky. I'm really curious to find out what he's got planned!"
