SPOT LUCKY, EARN A PRIZE?
Thursday, January 12, 2006 — The sightings of Lucky the Leprechaun reported last week have now been confirmed, but there is a new twist to the story - Lucky is giving special prizes to those who spot him! Lucky's reason for visiting Millsberry (as well as his motivation for giving out prizes) is still unknown, though.
Millsberry residents who have spotted Lucky and received one of his prizes say that they followed the small four-leaf clovers, which seem to be sprouting up wherever Lucky goes. "My friends and I have been chasing Lucky all over town," said Patrick O'Leary, of Lakeview. "Everywhere that we saw four-leaf clovers, we'd keep our eyes peeled for him. We eventually spotted Lucky in Downtown Millsberry, and he gave us a prize!"
Several other Millsberry citizens told similar stories. "I'd been hearing rumors about Lucky being in town," Rebecca Thomis, of Ravenwood, told the Gazette, "so I was on the lookout for four-leaf clovers. I happened to spot a few of them in Peabody Park, and when I followed their trail, I found Lucky! He gave me a very special Lucky Charms prize! I was just about to ask him why he was in Millsberry, but he suddenly ran away before I had the chance."
The Millsberry Gazette has yet to discover what these special prizes are, but it has been revealed that they are very unique and somehow related to Lucky Charms. These prizes could indicate that Lucky has been working on something new and exciting at Berry Mountain. Keep looking for those four-leaf clovers, and maybe you too will discover Lucky the Leprechaun's secret... and get some prizes along the way!
