Looking to make some extra Millsbucks? Hoping to play ball like a pro? Or make clothes like Loretta Rivers from the Wearhouse? Well, now you can-plus get paid for it! Yep, you heard it here first: Big things are happening in Millsberry, starting from a new location-the Career Center!Editor-in-Chief
Popping up right next to the Clothing Store and replacing the Recording Studio, the Career Center is a little ray of sunshine, downtown. And, to kick off the grand opening, there's a new-to-town Millsberrian running the show: Caroline Carrera!
"I've had this business for years and decided it'd be great to bring it to Millsberry. Simply swing on by and I'll tell you what positions are open! Yesterday, for example, a job-seeking resident came in and found work as a writer. One of his tasks was to read up on a slightly more famous writer: Zora Neale Hurston. After he finished reading the book from the bookstore, he got a Millscheck...plus some cool writing tools of his own. He also got a promotion, so his next project will be to score 400 points playing Solver."
"Right now," Caroline continued, "there are only a few careers to choose from but, in the coming weeks, there'll be new and exciting jobs popping up all over. And more jobs means more Millschecks--and more cool items--for you to bring home!"
Intrigued by the possibilities, we asked Caroline to tell us about some of the other positions available now. She noted, "Everyone is excited about the fashion designer job--available because Loretta's Wearhouse fashions have been in such high demand! Apparently, she needs all the help she can get, so your first task might be to design something like a super cool tank-top.
After that, you might have to make a bigger garment, like a button-down shirt. But just to be clear: you can't start more than one job in one day. So, if you start working as a police officer, you can't choose to work for Loretta on the same day. Instead, simply come back the next day and either start on your next police officer task, or start a completely new job, be it as a designer or
whatever!"
We're also pretty confident that another new career choice will be that of a surfer. How did we discover this? We saw residents wearing wet suits all around town!
So head on over to the Career Center to meet Caroline and pick a job, come back the next day to get going on your new task--and get movin' toward some Millschecks and cool prizes!
