JAMMIN' FASHION

Loretta Rivers' ears were ringing. She had just come home from a pop concert given by one of her favorite bands, Robotic. "The music was loud, but totally worth it!" she explained. "From cowbells to tambourines, the energy was insane! Not only were my ears ringing, but my head was spinning...with ideas for my new spring fashion line! I came home and started working, and basically didn't stop until I had some 11 new items I couldn't wait to wear myself!"
We asked Rivers where the inspiration came from. Smiling, she noted, "If you had been there you would know! The outfits were wild, bright, youthful—and totally rock and roll. And, since bright colors are usually much needed after a long, gray winter, I've decided to release the first half of my collection straight away. So come to the Wearhouse to see what's new! Then, in another weeks' time, swing by again, when there'll be a whole fresh crop of items to feast your eyes on!"
The suspense is going to be tough for Millsberry's fashionistas, but at least you can get a dose of fun spring threads right now! And, it looks like this first round is already a hit. In fact, over the weekend, Peabody Park was already full of Millsberrians wearing their new clothes and enjoying the nice weather.
One citizen we spoke with had just come from the Bait Shop. He was wearing a black leather biker vest from Loretta's line. "This vest is perfect for the months before summer," he explained. "There's always a little breeze, so this vest really helps—and it also looks cool. I was just mistaken for Darren Lancaster from The Wheels (a local rock band), so that made my day!"
Curious to know what else we saw that's new for spring? Well, without giving too much away, we can tell you that fun t-shirts, printed leggings, and oversized, pink bow headbands for girls are part of the master plan. Plus, there are classic cardigans for boys, and our all-time favorite for breezy nights: a hooded sweatshirt...with a hood that's shaped like a crown!
So head on over to the Wearhouse boutique for a little spring shopping—and a sampling of Loretta's favorite band, Robotic (playing on the store's stereo system, of course!). Just don't spend all your Millsbucks at once because, like Loretta said, there'll be more fresh fashion coming your way in one week!
