Fresh New Greenhouse!
Thursday, July 1, 2010 — There's been a buzz around town over some new golden sightings. We're not talking trophies. We're talking golden gazebos, golden beehive hairdos, and blinking gold lights. All you have to do is just stop by the Honey Nut Cheerios® Greenhouse and click on the Prize Hive!

The crowds circling the Honey Nut Cheerios® Greenhouse shed some light on the news. One girl waiting in line to get in said, "Mr.Combee has been doing lots of research on nature in other parts of the world. This inspired him to add new flowers, bugs, plants, and exciting new golden Prize-Hive goodies. There's never been a better reason to stop by the Honey Nut Cheerios® Greenhouse!"

We've talked to lots of people and everyone has been so excited about the prizes Buzz the Bee has given them, what plants they could care for, what bugs they could find, and what flowers they could collect pollen from. We won't give them all away but there were a few that Mr. Combee wanted everyone to get excited about.

We grabbed a few minutes of Mr. Combee's time. He marveled, "I was reading about South Africa and one of the most popular flowers there is the Bird of Paradise. This brightly colored flower looks like a bird taking flight. I felt inspired to grow them in the Greenhouse for everyone to enjoy. I've also been reading a lot about Japan. Japan is known for its beautiful blossoming cherry trees and maples. When you see clusters of these cherry trees altogether, the effect is magical. It's a beautiful burst of light pink blossoms that sway in the air and then snow down on the grass. I'm so happy that everyone can now plant these gems in their own backyard gardens."

As for new bugs, some think new bugs are creepy, but Mr. Combee assures all of Millsberry that the new bugs are super cool. "Everyone loves butterflies so there's a new butterfly that is gorgeous. Plus some other bugs that make noise and some that have lots and lots of legs. They might be hard to spot at first but if you look hard enough you'll have them for your home as well."

We spotted Siobhan Hidaka, Dojo owner, waiting on line. She said, "I can't wait to try my luck at what I can win in the Prize Hive. I have my fingers crossed that I win a golden bouquet of flowers... or the honey lava lamp. My dojo studio could use some new decor!"

So if your curiosity is piqued, it's time to check out the Honey Nut Cheerios® Greenhouse. Remember, you can get one item from the Prize Hive every day, care for and grow plants in five days, and collect pollen from a new flower and find a new bug every week. So buzz on over and have some fun!
