Meet Joy, our citizen of the week!
This charming young lady lives in the exciting area of Metro Park, at 11397 Main Street, which is just a short walk from the Downtown Entertainment Complex. She has been a citizen of Millsberry since September 14th of 2004, and really loves her new home.
Joy is a very creative gal who always enjoys solving a good mystery. In fact, she's apparently quite curious about the mysterious chest that was found by her schoolmates Rusty and Amy in the woods near Peabody Park last week.
Joy is well known at Millsberry Academy for her wonderful sense of humor, along with her amazing singing voice. Everyone claims that the Millsberry Academy choir has greatly improved since she joined, making it one of the best school choirs in the entire state! After school, Joy loves to practice her singing while listening to music, especially her favorite type, pop.
On the weekends, Joy can usually be found hanging out at her best friend's house, or at the pool, even though recently it's been too cold to go swimming.
Since it is winter now, Joy and her friends have been visiting the zoo instead of going to the pool. Before going out, they always remember to put on their beautiful winter coats, which they picked up at the clothing store. Loretta Rivers, the shop's owner, helped Joy pick out a great new coat, since she couldn't seem to decide between a violet, light blue, or indigo one, since those are all among her favorite colors. Now that they're dressed warmly, Joy and her friends enjoy walking around the zoo, where they delight in watching the penguins? who, not surprisingly, seem to be very happy about the weather!
During quiet moments at home, Joy enjoys relaxing and reading her mail, along with watching the snow fall outside her window.
