Meet Sandra, our citizen of the week!

Sandra lives at 9950 Union Avenue in the ultra-hip neighborhood of Metro Park. She's been enjoying the fast-paced lifestyle of Downtown Millsberry ever since moving in on May 18, 2005.

For those who know her well, the feature that stands out most about Sandra is her athleticism. Sandra stays fit by exercising every day, which is why she's in amazing shape! She knows that exercise doesn't have to be a chore and in fact can be great fun. Her favorite way to keep in shape is by playing basketball. Not only does Sandra play on the basketball team at Millsberry Academy, but she also maintains her skills during the off-season by playing pickup games at Peabody Park. Whether she's driving to the basket for a lay-up or hustling to get back on defense, you can bet that Sandra is having an amazing time while she's out on the court.

Sandra's mental skills are just as sharp as her physical ones, though! She's very clever, especially when it comes to computers. Sandra loves figuring out the complex problems that arise when she is programming on her computer, and she also enjoys simply browsing her favorite websites or playing action-packed computer games. Computer class is Sandra's favorite course at the Academy, and she's always willing to lend a hand when someone needs help fixing their computer.

When Sandra wants some quiet, relaxing time to herself, she usually heads for the art studio at her home. She loves to paint and will often spend hours covering her canvases with red, light blue, and dark blue paint. Sandra's art is usually inspired by the music she listens to while painting. Her three favorite types of songs are pop, disco, and classic rock, and her bright, energetic paintings really show the influence that music has on Sandra's artwork.

Sandra's friends are very important to her as well. After classes let out at Millsberry Academy, they usually head over to the arcade in Millsberry's Downtown Entertainment Complex for some friendly competition on the video games there. Sandra is a "reel" film buff (she even has a home theater!), so she and her friends usually try to catch the latest movies at the theater once they've run out of quarters at the arcade. For a special weekend treat, Sandra and her friends will sometimes visit an amusement park. They love the excitement of riding rollercoasters and all of the thrilling sights and sounds. Most of all, though, they love hanging out together!
