Meet Yuna, our citizen of the week!

Yuna lives at 30392-A Twilight Lane among the rolling green hills of Golden Valley. Even though she just moved to Millsberry on May 23, 2006, Yuna is already very happy with the blend of rustic country life and convenient access to the city that Golden Valley provides.

Yuna admits that she's a little nervous about making friends in Millsberry, since she can be rather shy. In an attempt to meet new people, Yuna began participating in as many activities as possible, and as a result, she's already met plenty of like-minded people. Once Yuna has had her first meeting with someone, her shyness tends to disappear, and at that point, she becomes very charming and fun to talk to. Since Millsberry Academy is closed for the summer, the first club she joined in Millsberry was the hockey league. Yuna has already made quite a few trips to the ice rink in Peabody Park to practice her moves on the ice, and she's becoming quite friendly with many of her teammates.

When they're not skating, Yuna and her teammates often hang out at the pool or head to a mall to browse the latest music and video games. Yuna has even thought about starting a games club with some of her new friends, so they can play and exchange video games and board games together.

Yuna also has many creative pursuits that she enjoys. When school starts at Millsberry Academy in the fall, she's planning to join the drama club and try out for the lead in the next musical, because she loves to sing. During the summer, though, Yuna is going to practice her painting. She really enjoys putting on one of her favorite R&B, soft rock, or pop CDs and singing along while she splashes her canvases with light blue, pink, and green paint. Yuna says that she likes painting because it's very relaxing and allows her to express herself creatively.
