Meet Lorelai, our citizen of the week!

Lorelai lives at 91270 Lakewood, which is in the beautiful neighborhood of Lakeview. She's enjoyed jogging along the lakeshore since December 7, 2005.

Lorelai participates actively in a wide range of healthy activities. One of her favorite pastimes is playing hockey at the ice rink in Peabody Park. Lorelai loves spending time with her teammates on and off the ice, and she feels that playing hockey has really sharpened her skating skills. When she's not slapping the puck across the ice, Lorelai also enjoys figure skating, because it gives her a way of expressing herself through movement. She has even gone out to skate on the lake near her home now that it's frozen over for the winter and safe for skating. If you're ever at the lakeshore on a cold winter day, you just might see Lorelai practicing her jumps and spins in her favorite pink and blue skating outfit.

Lorelai also likes to express herself with music. She loves listening to fast-paced, energetic music while she skates, so she recently headed over to the Millsberry Recording Studio and put together some tracks for skating practice. Lorelai's songs are a combination of her favorite styles - rap, pop, and punk - and when she handed some copies of her music out to a few of her hockey teammates, they too were energized by their rhythmic sounds. Word of Lorelai's tracks soon spread throughout Millsberry, and before long, one of her tunes made it to the top of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Top Ten Chart.

In her spare time, Lorelai likes to hang out at a mall or at her best friend's house, where they talk about their upcoming hockey games or music. Lorelai's friends are very important to her, and she loves spending time with them.
